Things to do in Bohinj

Guardian & Julian Alps

This Saturday (14th June) the UK Newspaper ‘The Guardian’ had featured 100 holidays to Eesesurope’s Lakes and Mountains in the Travel Section. The Julian Alps in Slovenia was featured at number 12 for multi activity holidays. We think that the short quote below sums up Bohinj very well and perfectly illustrates the type of holiday which you will enjoy in Bohinj Chalet.

To quote:

"
Multi Activity- The Julian Alps in Slovenia may not be well known as their western counterparts, but they are just as dramatic, with rugged limestone peaks above the treeline. Winding through the Julians is the emerald river Soca - in places it is fast flowing, in others it lazes past beaches - which is perfect for whitewater rafting and kayaking."
